OFFICE BASED DESIGN SERVICE
Macsteel Trading has an office based design service to provide advice and full design assistance. To help optimize the designs on specific projects and to assist the engineers to gain familiarity and expertise in cellular beam design, Macsteel Trading's engineers will attend to project design meetings.

TECHNICAL SEMINARS
In-house technical seminars can be arranged to promote the efficient design of cellular beams and proficiency with the associated design software, CELLBEAM.

CELLBEAM SOFTWARE
All cellular beam designs are carried out using analysis program, CELLBEAM, written by the Steel Construction Institute (SCI) in the UK. The structural integrity and design criteria have been verified following full scale destructive tests under the supervision of the SCI. The program is available free of charge and is enhanced on a regular basis. As part of the through-life quality management of the software, CELLBEAM will automatically check itself using internet communications to see if a new version is available, and warn the engineer accordingly, offering an automated update.
